Event UGC Has a Platform Problem

Event hosts aren’t struggling to create content from their events; attendees are already capturing a ton of priceless photos and videos. Event hosts are simply struggling to access it.

At every event, there are so many moments worth sharing and repurposing on attendees’ camera rolls, and only a small portion ends up on social media. But most of that content never makes it back to the host. And the fraction of event UGC that does, well, event hosts don’t have the right to repurpose it into marketing assets or social proof for future events.

The issue isn’t content. The content is being captured.

As marketers, we don’t trust words; we trust data. Review the data below and draw your own conclusions on how to handle the event UGC your attendees are capturing at your next event.
